Ladybug and her pups!
Introducing our newest additions!  They have taken up residence at the Moon Ranch for Unwed Mothers after a short stay at the Temple Shelter.  "LADYBUG" is the mother of 9 one week old puppies.  She is a Bloodhound, while the daddy is a charming Bassett.  We need funds to care for these precious ones.  Shots/Spay/Neuters and everything else that goes with raising a litter of little ones.  A $50 donation gives you naming rights to one of the puppies! Click here to help.

How can you help APAC with its efforts?  It's easy!

  1. Print and Post our Pets of the Week and Foster Pet Flyers weekly at work, church, daycare, etc...
  2. When you hear of a friend looking for a pet, Suggest Rescue!  Email a link to our website. Offer to go with them to the shelter.
  3. Suggest our Facebook pages.  Share, Share, Share!
  4. Do you have room in your heart and your home to give a deserving homeless pet and chance for a future? Foster for APAC.
  5. Donate.  There is so much more we can do if we only had the funds.

There are so many more ways you can help the homeless pet population in our community. Watch our website for a new page to show you and your children how they can help!

Join APAC, even if only to show your support!  We would love to have you.  We meet once a month, the 3rd Tuesday of every month at Dynasty Chinese at 5:30.  We have new faces at almost every meeting!

Distemper in Bell County

We have noticed an increase in the number of Canine Distemper cases affecting dogs in Bell County.  APAC would like to urge you to confirm that your pets are up to date on all vacinations.  Distemper is a cruel, often fatal disease that can be prevented.
